Process Engineer – Pulp & Paper

Job Description

Pay: $49.50- $68.00 per hour DOE

We are seeking a Senior Process Engineer with Pulp & Paper experience to lead conceptual and detailed process design projects. This role supports full project lifecycle execution—from design through construction—while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and mentoring junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop conceptual and detailed process designs for pulp and paper facilities

  • Solve complex engineering challenges using industry best practices

  • Coordinate with project teams and clients to deliver fully integrated solutions

  • Support construction efforts (submittals, RFIs, field walks)

  • Perform quality reviews and mentor junior engineers

  • Contribute to proposals, budgets, and schedules

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Paper Science, or Mechanical Engineering

  • 5+ years plant or consulting engineering experience

  • 10+ years total engineering design experience preferred

  • Strong knowledge of pulp and paper processes
