Energy Efficiency Specialist
Job Description
We're seeking an Energy Efficiency Specialist to conduct residential energy assessments, educate customers on energy-saving opportunities, and recommend solutions that improve energy efficiency and reduce costs.
Pay: $31.00- $41.00 per hour DOE
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform in-home energy audits and equipment evaluations
- Analyze energy usage and recommend efficiency improvements
- Educate customers on energy-saving programs and services
- Troubleshoot HVAC, insulation, ductwork, and energy management systems
- Support community outreach events and customer education initiatives
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors to resolve customer issues
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 3+ years of related experience
- Valid Driver's License
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Experience with energy audits, HVAC systems, or energy efficiency programs preferred
- Bilingual Spanish preferred
Requirements:
- Ability to travel locally to customer locations
- Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor environments
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and wear required PPE, including a respirator
