Electrician II
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Electrician II to support the operation, maintenance, and repair of critical electrical systems within a commercial and industrial environment. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and ensuring the safe and reliable operation of mission-essential electrical equipment.
Pay: $29.62- $38.46 per hour DOE
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years of commercial and industrial electrical maintenance experience
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and theory
- Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and equipment drawings
- Experience with electrical troubleshooting and repair
- Trade school or technical program diploma preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair low-voltage and medium-voltage systems
- Maintain and service VFDs, generators, UPS systems, panel boards, MCCs, and related equipment
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations
- Support continuous operation of critical facility systems
