We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to support hydroelectric generation facilities by partnering with project managers and site teams to troubleshoot issues, define project scope, and execute electrical solutions. This role involves supporting multiple capital and maintenance projects in an active power generation environment.

This role involves supporting multiple capital and maintenance projects in an active power generation environment.
Pay: $51.00- $61.00 per hour DOEKey Responsibilities
- Provide electrical engineering support for hydroelectric facilities
- Collaborate with project managers and site teams to define scope and resolve technical issues
- Support multiple concurrent projects across electrical systems
- Perform engineering analyses and prepare technical documentation
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution
- Ensure compliance with all onsite safety requirements (PPE, FR clothing)
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
(Other engineering degrees considered with a PE in Electrical Engineering) - Experience supporting electrical systems in power generation or utility environments
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Strong communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or willingness to obtain
- Experience in hydroelectric facilities or regulated utilities
- Experience supporting capital projects
Work Environment
- Full-time, onsite role
- Based at a hydroelectric facility with travel to additional sites as needed
- Frequent travel during the week (mileage reimbursed; per diem eligible for select locations)
