Data Center Facilities Technician
Job Description
Pay:Up to $39.00 per hour
Onsite | Shift Work Required (Nights/Weekends/Holidays)
We are seeking an experienced Data Center Facilities Technician to support the safe and continuous operation of critical infrastructure systems. This role is responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems to ensure maximum uptime.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine inspections of critical systems (UPS, generators, switchgear, ATS, PDUs, chillers, CRAC/AHUs, cooling towers, fire suppression, etc.)
Monitor and operate Building Automation Systems (BAS)
Respond to alarms and perform preventive and corrective maintenance
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
Maintain accurate logs and documentation
Participate in on-call rotations and after-hours emergency response
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
5+ years of experience in facilities, data center, or related trade
Ability to read schematics, one-line diagrams, and technical drawings
Familiarity with electrical and mechanical infrastructure systems
Comfortable working shifts, on-call rotations, and emergency responses
Strong understanding of safety protocols and team collaboration
