DOT Relocation Designer
Job Description
HKA Enterprises is unable to support C2C. 3rd party submissions and C2C requests will not be considered for any positions.
- Relocate all Client poles to accommodate NCDOT road widening/pole relocation projects
- Add additional poles for primary underground feeds to new development
- Take pictures, notes, measurements of existing facilities
- Identify any concerns (Environmental, Railroad, Construction, Tree Trim, Traffic Control needs)
- Use MicroStation to design 2D Construction Print and detailed material list
- Use Maximo to set up Permits, Prerequisites, Job flow
- Once all internal Quality Controls and client Approvals are obtained, Release the job to construction
- Meet with Construction Crew on site to explain the job and answer any questions/concerns
- Be available for Field Support (phone calls and/or site visits) during the Construction
- Upload all pictures, notes, prints, permits, Quotes to records
- File all project information for ISO records
- Handle 6-10 different jobs in various stages of the above process
