Water Systems Operator
Pay:$21.49- $30.95 per hour DOE
Employment Type: Full-Time, Entry-Level

Basic Qualifications
Valid driver’s license
High school diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications
Basic knowledge of operating and maintaining vehicles, equipment, farm machinery, pumps, and other water system equipment
Familiarity with hand and power tools commonly used in equipment and facility maintenance
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
Work is performed indoors and outdoors, potentially exposing employees to: loud noise, active machinery, high-pressure fluids, electrical equipment, confined spaces, heights, fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, and pathogens.
Proper environmental attire and safety equipment required.
Physical abilities required:
Sit, stand, stoop, twist, bend, kneel, squat, reach, grasp, and perform repetitive hand/fine coordination movements
Lift objects up to 50 lbs from floor to waist, carry 50 lb toolbox up stairs
Climb ladders/scaffolds and work in confined spaces
Vision sufficient to read blueprints; hearing in normal range (with/without correction)
Role Summary
The Water Systems Operator performs a variety of tasks in the operation and maintenance of water distribution and production systems. This is an entry-level position that does not require prior water certification.
