Job Description

 Remote Position-This is a strategic role within the Legal, Contracts and Compliance function. This position coordinates with business partners on allocated supply chain contract matters, manages a complex portfolio of allocated supplier contracts, communicates with Interiors supply chain leadership, to develop and execute such contracts. Primary Responsibilities: • Provides guidance to stakeholders daily for allocated projects. • Drafts, generates, negotiates, interprets, and manages complex contract documents for allocated suppliers, in accordance with internal and external customer schedules to ensure these documents properly reflect business objectives. • Performs analysis and prepares reports to ensure allocated contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters, in accordance with company policies and guidelines. • Negotiates allocated supplier contracts with its stakeholders, to achieve business favourable terms. • Reviews allocated contractual terms and conditions for their acceptability, as well as assessing the risk and impact. • Uses legal resources and other subject matter experts to ensure all levels of risk are recognized and subsequently addressed through development of unique contract terms. • Briefs management and other functional areas on contract status, risk mitigation and contingency plans based on developed recommendations, for allocated contracts. • Identifies opportunities to streamline workflow and improve quality of work product. Brings forward recommendations to increase efficiencies through use of tool or process enhancements. • Track and report key functional metrics. • Represents the organization on legal issues for allocated contracts. • Maintains historical legal records. Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree with 10+ years of experience; OR • Advanced Degree and 7-10 years of relevant experience; OR • In the absence of a degree, 13 years of experience is Required -  - Schedule: M-F 8AM-5PM (Flexible start/end times, as long as 8 hrs/day) Preferred Qualifications: • Juris Doctorate or Advanced Degree in Business Administration
