**This role is located/based in Charlotte and all candidates must be able to work onsite**
The client contingent worker openings for full time and part-time Security Operations Center (SOC) Console Operator roles. Console Operators will be responsible for monitoring electronic security systems including intrusion detection, video cameras, badge verification, and general access control. In addition, Operators will also be tasked with providing remote gate access, receiving, and reacting to large call volume, regulatory requirements, maintaining enterprise situational awareness and other duties as assigned.

- Minimum high school diploma or GED
- excellent customer service and communication skills
- ability to multitask
- proficient computer and MS Office suite skills.
- Must be willing to work a rotating/flexible schedule - weekends, holidays, evenings.
- Ability to assess people and situations, to apply sound judgement, to remain calm under stressful conditions and elicit essential information for assigning and assisting field personnel in a timely manner.
- Further, must maintain a high level of confidentiality dealing with incidents and security techniques.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring the safety of company employees and property by monitoring and responding to physical access control system alarms in a prescribed manner.
- Interact with callers/customers to determine location, nature of incident/issues to determine appropriate response.
- Perform data entry in multiple data bases; follow established procedures.
- Work involves detailed record keeping, data entry, and acute listening skills.
