Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:
• Supports and works with the Configuration Management team focused on maintaining steady workflow and productivity in several aspects of engineering documentation duties to include drawing release, data entry, & change management.
• Assisting with compliance and maintenance of configuration management company standards. and processes. Creating updates where necessary to improve effectiveness for the organization.
• Maintain of data items within a Product Life Management (PLM) system.
• Review of configuration management documentation standards.
• Follows and understands company policies, procedures and processes.
• Participate in Change Review Board (CRB) meetings.
• Collaboration with Engineering staff and internal department associates.
• Support internal audits regarding Configuration Management processes.
• Review of documentation for data accuracy within a process workflow.
• Ensures department practices and procedures are followed by Engineering staff.
Knowledge, Experience & Education:
• Understands basic management approaches such as prioritizing work and process execution.
• Associate degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience with specialized knowledge of technical documentation experience.
• Knowledge of Team Center is a plus.
• Knowledge of working with a Product Life Management (PLM) and Systems Applications and Products in Data Processing (SAP) data base management system.
• Knowledge of Microsoft tools; word, excel, outlook E-mail.
• Adobe Acrobat knowledge
