Commercial/Industrial HVAC Technician

The Technician will be responsible for the inspection, repair, and maintenance and approved modifications of a wide variety of industrial equipment.
Maintain complete equipment records and documentation related to tests, maintenance, modifications, and repairs including refrigerant installation and recovery.
Responsible for following the test, maintenance, and installation procedures established as acceptable for the equipment under the care of this department.
May assist in the development of procedures or the checkout of systems as necessary to provide acceptable availability and reliability of all systems.
Recommend improvements and modifications to procedures, process and equipment.
Comply with all established safety rules, company policies, and procedures.
Assist in identifying and maintaining an adequate supply of spare parts in a cost efficient manner.
Assist in maintaining clean, orderly and hazard-free work areas. Expected to perform all duties in accordance with company and safety standards.
Operate safety equipment.
High School Diploma or GED required
Completion of an HVAC apprentice program and Journeyman status.
5 experience in the installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of industrial HVAC equipment with related training.
Must have the ability to read and understand technical manuals and prints, ability to do various forms of paperwork (written), possess adequate math skills commensurate with the requirements of the trade.
US Citizenship is required (Proof of Residency cards are not acceptable for this position)
Valid Florida driver’s license
EPA Universal Technician Certification preferred
Ability to obtain and maintain any required security clearance including any future requirements or changes
