Chemical Assembler
Job Description

2nd Shift: 3:30pm - 1:00am
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
- Perform several assembly responsibilities in a cell. Assemble and adjust complex components. Mark, label and package parts. Make adjustments to meet customer requirements.
- Perform all responsibilities within productivity and quality expectations. Follow work procedures.
- Set up and operate several assembly and packaging machines. Considered a master of 1 process.
- Act as a troubleshooter for some assembly process problems. Resolve problems or refer problems to appropriate individual.
- Provide limited training to assemblers.
- Maintain clean and safe work environment. Follow safety and environmental procedures and regulations. Report safety incidents to supervisor.
- Make recommendations for improvements to work processes. Contribute to 5S program in work area.
- Provide a high level of service to all internal and external customers. Contribute to positive teamwork environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned. Participate in training/learning other positions. Accomplish related results as needed.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Education:
- High school diploma/GED.
- Experience
- 0-4+ years’ manufacturing experience.
