Job Description
HKA Construction Services is now hiring CWI – NDT Level II Inspectors for a shipyard located in Newport News, VA. All applicants shall have a minimum of 4 years documented current, continuous experience as a certified inspector in the applicable inspection methods. NDT Level II Method - PT (II), VT (II) & MT (II)
Wages:
$36.00/Hr. & $120.00 Per Diem per day.
Certification:
All Inspectors shall have documented qualification/certification to the Level II requirements for ASNT SNT-TC-1A, 2001 Edition or later.
- Inspectors will be assigned to a shop environment performing inspections on structural welders.
- There will be some climbing and crawling required and inspectors would be expected to perform some minor grinding for relevancy checks in the process of the inspection.
Must successfully pass a background check & Hair follicle drug test.
Must be able to work any shift and overtime.
