Job Title: Business Analyst – SAP Commerce on Prem to SAP Commerce Cloud Migration
Location: [Hybrid/Remote] Hybrid if within the Charlotte area
Reports To: Manager, Products & Services
Role Summary
We are migrating our eCommerce platform from SAP Commerce (Hybris) to SAP Commerce Cloud. The Business Analyst will serve as the liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership to ensure a smooth transition. This role focuses on gathering requirements, analyzing gaps, defining processes, and supporting testing and deployment for the new cloud-based solution.
Key Responsibilities
• Requirements Gathering & Documentation
o Conduct stakeholder interviews to capture business needs for catalog, pricing, promotions, checkout, and customer account management.
o Translate business requirements into functional specifications for SAP Commerce Cloud features.
• Gap Analysis & Process Mapping
o Compare current SAP Commerce (on-prem) capabilities with SAP Commerce Cloud offerings.
o Document As-Is and To-Be workflows for eCommerce operations.
• Data Migration Support
o Define data migration requirements for product catalogs, customer accounts, and historical orders.
o Validate data integrity during migration and assist with reconciliation.
• Integration Coordination
o Work with technical teams to define integration requirements
• Testing & UAT
o Develop test cases and acceptance criteria; support user acceptance testing and defect resolution.
• Change Management
o Support go-live readiness and post-launch stabilization.
• Project Documentation
o Maintain traceability between requirements, user stories, and test cases
Required Qualifications
• 8-10 years of Business Analysis experience in eCommerce or ERP projects.
• Strong understanding of eCommerce processes: catalog management, pricing, promotions, checkout, and customer service.
• Experience with data migration and integration projects.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment in planning, organizing, and performing analyst tasks.
• Strong communication, motivation, and organizational skills, especially under deadline pressure.
Education Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or 7 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
Preferred Qualifications
• Hands-on experience with SAP Commerce (Hybris) and familiarity with SAP Commerce Cloud.
• SAP certifications (Commerce Cloud or related).
• Experience with cloud migration projects.
• Familiarity with APIs, integration patterns, and middleware solutions.
• Knowledge of performance testing and SEO considerations for eCommerce.

• Data Migration Plan and Validation Reports.
• UAT Test Cases and Results.
• Go-Live Checklist and Post-Implementation Review.
