Job Description
The Buyer will play a vital role in assisting the supply chain team with the below responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Request for Quotes and Purchase Order Placement
- Facilitate the end-to-end procurement process by managing quote entry, sending technical prints/drawings to suppliers, and maintaining accurate records of invoice approvals.
- Serve as a point of contact for vendors to resolve discrepancies related to invoices, payment status, or shipping documentation.
- Conduct high-volume data entry within Supply Chain Management (SCM) systems, ensuring all lead times, pricing, and other supplier information are current.
- Support the development and maintenance of supply chain performance metrics and reports
- Support cross-functional supply chain initiatives and perform other duties as assigned to meet shifting operational demands.
Experience – SAP knowledge, previously purchasing experience in Aerospace a plus
