Accounts Payable Analyst

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Performs basic and routine duties and overtime is less routine for medium complexity tasks. Has a broader understanding of established procedures. Has a general knowledge of the data entry quality processes. Can provide guidance to staff once they have a solid background in the work. Makes decisions and recommendations within established guidelines, procedures or polices. Responsible for customer service and processing both check and electronic payments using client suite of systems. Process wire payments daily. Process check and electronic payments as a back up to the full-time Payment Processer. Review and resolve issues with stale dated checks. Test and implement payment function for new pay company set-up. Assist internal and external auditors. Attest authorized spending limits. Reconcile all wire payments. Recommend new procedures/reports as required for control of pay and customer service functions. Answer phone and e-mail queries from vendors and internal clients on invoice issues. Basic accounting knowledge. Excellent data entry skills. Attention to detail is an essential skill.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • High school & post-secondary education.
  • Experience: 0 to 2 Years
