PAY: USD 43.10-USD 52.00
Contract: Long-term, with no end date.

Employee-paid medical benefits are available on the 1st of the month after your 1st day of work.
PTO, holiday, and sick pay are provided.
Hours: 7:30 AM until 4:30 PM Monday-Friday w/ some on-call work. 40-minute lunch
Job Requirements
Top 3 Skills:
3 years of experience in an engineering environment (automotive process or automotive
3 years of project management experience in several equipment and/or controls planning projects
Structural modification.
Must Have’s:
Experience in assembly, controls, and equipment (PLC Alan Bradley & Siemens S7; E-Plan).
Problem investigation & data analysis experience.
Long and short-term project management experience
Experience in CAD
Scope:
Provides project planning, installation, start-up, and acceptance, as well as engineering support of new installations and optimization measures of the conveyor and equipment technology in Assembly.
Responsibilities:
Engineers the planning of technical equipment within the Assembly as delegated by the Section Manager, Assembly.
Evaluates concept evaluations with a technical and financial focus on new facilities and process equipment.
Provides Project oriented planning and realization of measures in collaboration with the internal customer as well as external suppliers.
Finds the optimum solutions regarding costs, quality, ergonomics, technical innovation, and environment.
Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding structural capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.
Provides cost estimation (Invest, Budget), technical specification, and requests for quotes.
Evaluates, coordinate and compile bidder circle, call for bids, offer evaluation, the recommendation for the award of the contract, acceptance of the equipment from the suppliers, and hand over to the operator as delegated by the Section Manager, Assembly.
Develops and implements equipment countermeasures to improve equipment reliability. Ensures all equipment design is capable of 98% uptime (TS-4x equipment uptime).
Ensures all assigned countermeasures are developed on schedule and effectively (TS-4x countermeasures).
Ensures all assigned projects are on schedule and at/or under approved budget (TS-4x variance to budget).
Performs other duties as assigned by the Operations Supervisor.
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering preferred) or the equivalent of 4 years of engineering experience in the automotive industry.
Experience:
3 years of experience in an engineering environment (automotive process or automotive).
3 years of Project Management experience in several equipment and/or controls planning projects as well as structural modification.
Advanced = experience in assembly, controls, and equipment (PLC Alan Bradley & Siemens S7; E-Plan).
Advanced = problem investigation & data analysis experience.
Advanced = long and short-term project management experience (continuous improvement, process analysis, controls planning)
Advanced = cross-functional communication experience
Advanced = equipment maintenance experience in electrical, controls, software, and mechanical areas.
Intermediate = experience using Microsoft Office applications
Intermediate = experience in CAD
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Ability to use and apply statistical methods to aid with process analysis.
German language skills preferred.
