The Warehouse/CDC Driver will deliver and pickup chemicals on the site including boxes, cans, drums, cylinders, and perform refilling of Liquid Nitrogen Dewar’s.

Ensure daily safety checks are performed for delivery trucks before daily use.

Maintain chemical hazard class separation of all chemicals and gasses while in transport.

Ensure proper scanning, labeling and recording of materials delivered, received, and picked up.

Maintain all CDC handling equipment as required to ensure equipment is in proper working order and safe for use.

Maintain CDC warehouse and delivery trucks in an audit ready condition at all times.


High School Diploma or GED required

Must have valid California Driver’s License.

Ability to investigate problems, formulates solutions, and communicates those solutions to internal customers and management.

Ability to maintain CDC record keeping systems and procedures.

Ability to successfully pass an initial and annual company arranged hazardous material technician medical physical

Ability to successfully pass an initial and annual respirator fit test

Knowledge of chemical warehouse methods, practices, techniques and computer inventory systems.

Successfully complete Hazardous Waste Operations Training - 40 hour Hazwoper Training and annual 8 hour refresher course.

Successfully complete training on the following subjects including but not limited to: Respiratory Protection, Confined Space Entry, Confined Space Rescue, Chemical Incident Reporting, Hazardous Waste Permit, Hazardous Waste Handling., and Hazardous Materials Transportation
