Job Description:

1st shift -6:30 am-3:00 pm

2nd shift position-2:30 pm-11:00 pm- Monday-Friday

The Warehouse Assistant performs in-process quality checks

Packs rolls, envelopes or other products into bags or boxes and stacks them onto pallets.

Verifies each box has the correct number of items inside, and verifies the weight to be correct using the check weighing system

 Communicates all issues with the Level 3 Operator, Tech's and Supervisor

Uses a forklift safely

Ensures that all finished goods are put away and supplies raw materials to support production

Cross trained and can perform folding, assembly and feeder tasks

Supports business needs by working overtime and on weekends as necessary to satisfy schedule requirements

Works closely with the packer and assists him or her as necessary.

Proficiency in running the lines and performing basic troubleshooting and equipment repairs, assists technicians during preventive maintenance

Supports business needs by working overtime and on weekends as necessary to satisfy schedule requirements

Perform others tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required

Knows basic hand tool skills

Able to operate a Forklift in a safe manner.

Able to obtain a forklift drivers certification at within 6 months

Able to perform repetitive assembly using hands and arms which includes ending and stretching.

Must be able to wear steel toed boots, safety glasses

Ability to read, write, and understand English

Bi-lingual skills in Spanish preferred

Strong interpersonal/teamwork skills desired

Effective written and verbal communications skills

Computer literate

Organized and detail oriented

Proactive

Self-Starter

Ability to work without direct supervision

Dependable
