Propulsion Flight Test Engineer

The Propulsion Flight Test Engineer participates within existing teams to support the planning, conduct, and reporting of propulsion related helicopter ground and flight tests.
Typically, these tests include thermal surveys, fire extinguishing and suppression system evaluations, determination of installed engine power, inlet and exhaust surveys, and characterization of engine-airframe compatibility together with FADEC-based control systems, fuel systems, and environmental control systems.
Will concentrate on the test-conduct phase to include attendance at flight briefs, TM-monitoring and flight de-briefs.
High School Diploma or GED required
Must be a US citizen.
Must currently have and/or be capable of obtaining a security clearance.
Must have a valid photo ID (driver's license + social security card or birth certificate OR US passport).
Must have valid driver's license/vehicle insurance.
Must possess prior flight test and propulsion-systems related technical knowledge; fixed wing experience is acceptable.
Knowledge of data systems and instrumentation performance (thermal / pneumatic) is required.
