Job Description:

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing various projects associated with the development, supplier management, tracking, review/approval and publishing of military APU technical publications.

These publications are used to overhaul and repair APUs both installed on aircraft and in an overhaul shop.

Interface with the PW West Palm Beach technical publications based staff and various tech pubs supplier located in the US, Canada and Poland, for the purpose of tech pubs deliveries and schedule

Schedule and track tech pubs supplier deliverables including follow-up with stakeholders

Develop and prepare technical publications status reports to various military APU program managers

Coordinate Service Bulletin development between PW, PW Canada and PWC Poland and manage through to publishing

Airframer technical publications package preparation and delivery

Input data related to technical publications into airframer logistics management system

Occasional quality review and minor editing of technical publications received from suppliers                       

Qualifications:

BA/BS or Associates degree

3 -5 years aerospace overhaul maintenance/inspection experience, hardware knowledge and understanding of the engineering change process.

3-15 years of demonstrated success in managing multiple small to medium size projects simultaneously.

 

Possess knowledge and understanding of technical publication process as it pertains to military requirements, regulatory requirements and industry specifications.

Demonstrated adaptability and capability to manage multiple priorities in parallel.

Understanding of industry standard technical publications authoring style/formatting requirements

Excellent communication skills (clear and concise in written and verbal communications)

Extremely strong project management skills.

Able to think logically and analytically in a problem-solving environment

Focus on customer service and support is a must

Ability to work within a team and across teams of various disciplines.
