This is a direct hire position
The Project Manager will monitor, control and execute all aspects of construction and fabrication projects and deliver projects to expected level of safety, quality, on time completion and profitability expectations.
Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policy.
Manage the financial, business and commercial aspects of contracts (fee payment, contract review, income/expenses, delivery dates, etc.) to protect the company’s interest and simultaneously maintain good relationship with Clients.
Investigate potential serious situations and implement corrective actions.
Represent the company at project meetings, strategy meetings, etc.
Assume additional responsibilities as directed by Senior Executives.
High School diploma/GED
A bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent is preferred.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
ASME or API experience
Must be able to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance.
Thorough understanding of pipe fabrication in the power generation industry practices, processes, standards, etc. and their impact on project activities is vital.
Superior communication and interpersonal (tact, diplomacy, influence, etc.) skills essential to success.
Solid understanding of drawing interpretation.
Managerial and supervisory experience of Project Management in the process piping industry or related industry is required.
