Plant Maintenance Scheduler

The Plant Maintenance Scheduler will analyze, develop and maintenance of a schedule for all facility maintenance activities
Manage and maintain the site CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) which is currently Maximo.
Ensure Maximo work order status for accuracy
Develop a weekly schedule and assist the first-line supervisor in determining job priorities
Schedule preventative maintenance, assigning work orders to appropriate resources.
Schedule time, material resources for preventative, predictive, proactive and reactive work at the site. These resources may be external as in the case of an outside vendor performing where required due to skills, tools or resources require.
Continuously improve PM effectiveness through optimizing work, detail, frequency and parts required.
Review completed tasks for accuracy, identifying and working with the planner for any work instruction optimization required
Ensure all outages, access, resources; skills, materials and tools available prior to scheduling job to insure limited down time and increase productivity.
Load work queue to available resources (schedule 100% of all technicians time)
Manage drop-in (priority 1 and 2) work by skill set and availability (goal of maintaining an 80% scheduling effectiveness)
High school diploma or GED
Minimum of 2 years previous maintenance mechanic or equivalent experience in a manufacturing facility.
Prior maintenance planning/coordination experience or equivalent.
Proven strong technical knowledge relative to the industry.
Working knowledge & experience using CMMS systems for planning purposes.
Must have strong computer/database management skills, including ability to create and manage complex spreadsheets.
Strong communications skills, both verbal and written, are a must across all levels of the workforce.
Must have the ability to effectively prioritize tasks that align to changing business needs.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Valid Florida driver’s license
Ability to obtain and maintain any required security clearance including any future requirements or changes.
