Job Description:

This is a 2nd shift position. Candidates will train on first shift and then transition to second shift.

The Paint/Finisher builds crates, paint valves and gets valves ready to pass to stock.

Plans and carries out assembly finishing procedures, based on specifications provided.

Applies nameplates and any special tags specified on router or PSR sheet.

Retrieves tagging information from computer and makes nameplates and special tags on laser equipment.

Will retrieve information from computer for any special requirements specified on product prior to shipment.

Build or retrieves correct wood skid to secure product for shipment.

Refers to specifications in order to make material selections and to build appropriate skids.

Bands products to skid.

Applies rust preventative on raised face and internals or where specified on PSR.

Preps products for special paint on wood skid.

Touch up internal paint prior to shipment.

Inspect product for any quality defects prior to shipment.


High school diploma or GED

0-2 year’s relevant experience.

Previous experience operating mobile equipment.

Previous experience operating lifting devices.

Previous carpentry experience, including the use of power tools.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints preferred.
