Job Description:

The Material Logistics Associate will be operational support for services involving transportation, distribution, procurement, warehousing, investment recovery surplus, and inventory and accounting control of materials and equipment and special projects on an asset wide basis. Provide support to the asset operations.

Procure daily material, equipment and supplies through requisitions, transfers and direct purchasing procedures to meet divisional requirements.

Authorize/coordinate work performed by contracted area shops for repairs/exchange of re-manufactured parts used in plants and gathering systems.

Perform warehousing operations, including the ordering, receiving, storage and distribution of equipment and materials across an asset.

Evaluate appropriate maximum and minimum restocking quantities based on usage history.

Assist in coordinating divisional investment recovery functions for idle, surplus or junk plant/gathering system materials and pipe.

Identifies and locates suitable surplus or unused equipment and materials for reuse within the company.

Provides support to the materials management activities within the asset.

Performs physical inventories of booster sites, plants, and warehouses to facilitate sales/transfers of surplus for the division.

 Maintains warehouse data, conducts physical inventory audits of warehouse accounts, reconciles with accounting systems, and prepares material transfers for movement or disposal.

 

Qualifications:

Associate's degree preferred.

1-3 years' of materials/inventory control or related subjects.

Valid driver’s license.

Mechanical background related to oil & gas industry related engines, compression, and gas processing equipment.

Proficient in MS Office suite of products.

Basic purchasing skills.

Material control/asset management background.

Basic warehousing experience & knowledge of investment recovery methodology.
