Logistics/Trade Compliance Office Assistant

The Logistics/Trade Compliance Office Assistant is responsible for performing the clerical tasks related to import/export recordkeeping required to maintain compliance with US regulations.
Performs pre-audits on customs invoices and SLIs daily and group by port of entry & mode of shipment
Run report of goods in transit, obtain Master Bill of Lading information from forwarder website and group invoices, SLI’s, by B/L # electronically.
Perform post entry audits & review broker billing with entry file Document broker performance and corrective action requests
Audit the quality and completeness of electronic records received from brokers for recordkeeping
Run Reports: Create shipping query & update vessel log in Excel daily Update customer billing based on tracking import shipment arrival dates
Assist with creating export documents
Follow up with brokers or shippers on proper documents as well as shipment dispatch from broker warehouse to our customers.
Serve as a back-up on daily operations activities during vacations or other scheduled absences
High School Diploma or GED required
