Job Description:

The I&C Mechanic Specialist will perform electrical repair and maintenance.

This would include working with a SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) system to monitor, troubleshoot and repair control issues. Primarily Rockwell/Allen Bradley PLC based systems.

Process control valves, actuators, positioners, as well as many process instruments and transmitters will need to be maintained and calibrated.

Reads, interprets and works from blueprints, drawings, sketches, plans, specifications and technical illustrations as well as verbal instructions.

Performs skilled repair work on wastewater treatment plant equipment and instruments.

Inspects, repairs and maintains electrical and/or electro-mechanical operating and control systems, equipment and fixtures.

Inspects, maintains and repairs wiring and lighting systems, electrical control equipment, meters, outlets, and panels.

Installs new equipment, interprets oral and written instructions, specifications, wiring diagrams and codes.

Establishes and maintains scheduled electrical maintenance program for the plant's equipment.

Repair electrical and electronic instruments.

Keeps electrical maintenance records, prepares labor and material estimates.

Utilize our CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work applied to specific Assets.

Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

3-5 yrs. experience in maintenance and repair of electrical and mechanical equipment

3-5 yrs. experience repairing process control valves and associated hardware

Must be able to read and write English.

Valid Driver’s License with no major infractions in the past 5 years.

Understands the mathematics of electricity and machines.

Follows oral and written instructions.
