Help Desk/Field Technician

The Customer Service Technician will be servicing Analytical Equipment in Shop and at client sites once trained.
The Customer Service Technician will provide timely and quality testing, per check-out procedures, of all CMS Field Product instrumentation that is returned to the repair center.
Will interface directly with the customer to provide final test results to verify completeness and accuracy of the repair.
Provides telephone support and on-site repairs to CMS customers.
Opens, updates, and closes service calls as appropriate.
Repairs and maintains loaner/lease equipment and in-house development equipment.
Provide training assistance when required, either in-house or at customer locations.
Provide technical assistance and/or perform installations of complex facilities as required by the customer.
Willingness to travel internationally or domestically as required by the company.
Willingness to accept any other requirements and/or responsibilities as needed.
Assist application laboratory with evaluation of new or unique customer applications.
High school diploma or GED
Associates degree in electronics or chemistry is required.
Fundamental computer skills.
Hands-on repair and maintenance experience with analytical instrumentation is a plus.
