Customer Service Representative

The Customer Service Clerk provides customer assistance in response to problems and related service inquiries.
Receives or initiates customer contact in order to resolve complaints. Responsible for customer billing activities and related reporting.
Prepares monthly reports from the Utility billing system.
Maintains miscellaneous tracking records and reporting to appropriate staff.
Maintains work order system to insure timely, efficient and complete service responsiveness to customers of the waterworks system and historic tracking of related work.
Assists in answering telephones; receives and routes messages
Handles customer account information as it relates to billing and usage inquiries
High school diploma or GED required
Two years of office clerical experience
Possess a valid driver’s license
Proficient in use of computer software including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel
Minimum typing speed of fifty (50) words per minute
Firm grasp of English language; Spanish is a plus
