Customer Service Coordinator

The Customer Service Coordinator interacts with customers on a daily basis to sell replacement parts for Cameron equipment.
Will be responsible for a select product range and must ensure the Recommended Parts List is current for each piece of that equipment, including pricing.
Interacts with Inventory Control to ensure adequate parts are in inventory to support that range of selected equipment.
Will have a select range of customers to service and will make regular personal calls on those select customers to ensure service levels exceed customer expectations.
Manages and monitors the progress of customer orders/activities and ensures timely completion.
Provide weekly updates on new equipment, spare parts and aftermarket repair orders.
Handles customers’ inquiry on the assigned projects and serve as the primary point of contact between the company and customers.
Coordinates with Sales Representatives, Engineering, Manufacturing, Vendors and Purchasing personnel to meet customers’ requirements.
Continually monitors, revises and ensures resources are deployed to achieve customer expectations.
Maintain customer and inter-division quotation and sales orders to meet customer expectation.
Provide assistance to customer with new or enhanced product developments.
Works with Engineering Department to advise customers on substitution or modification of parts when identical replacements are not available.
Follows company procedures on customer credit, including payment before release of parts where required.
Assists co-workers to process customer quotation requests daily and ensures all customers purchase orders are completed daily.
High school diploma or GED required
1-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent of education and experience combination.
Proficient in MS Office, Excel, and Outlook.
Experience with a computerized inventory system including data entry, customer order entry, pick slip generation and invoicing.
Ability to read and understand electronic parts manuals in order to determine replacement part numbers.
Ability to interpret a customer request for parts into part numbers, based on equipment model and serial number and description of the parts.
Experience working in sales or the oil and gas industry preferred.
Strong Written and verbal communication skills
SAP experience strongly desired.
