The Configuration Manager will efficiently manage and oversee documentation and the activities surrounding it for pipeline and facility construction projects.
Will be responsible for providing document control services under limited supervision for routine aspects of expediting, quality assurance, issue resolution and reporting up to program or portfolio level.
Responsible for implementing and monitoring programs and processes that ensure requirements are met.
Train internal and external parties for process/requirement alignment. Provides leadership for quality assurance support for assigned projects to ensure that designs, procurement and installation meet standards.
Provides leadership for new systems development, procedures and implementation.
Makes frequent decisions based on quality principles and performs as job leader.
Reviews and provides level 1 quality assurance for project deliverables, drawings, procedures, procurement documents and quality control reports.
Identifies and reports problems.
Recommends appropriate corrective action.
Participates in project wide audits including vendor or subcontractor audits.
High school diploma or GED
Must understand company’s processes and execute auditing procedures.
Competent knowledge of civil, electrical, digital, and mechanical discipline configuration practices and standards.
Understanding of EC programmatic interfaces to ensure that information is properly updated.
