Administrative Assistant (Lead)

The Mid-Level Administrative Assistant comprises many high-level administrative support duties.
These include the following:
Administrative Assistant coordinates the schedule/calendar for the Department Managers, ensuring that meetings, deadlines, presentations and other duties are carried out seamlessly.
Will often make travel arrangements, coordinating flights, accommodations and other itinerary specifics.
Records and reports.
Typically, various office reports are generated by the administrative assistant -- who may create spreadsheets and charts, maintain databases and write departmental status reports.
Will keep meeting notes, discipline files and trainings updated and available to the appropriate staff. .
Will field phone calls, take requests for meetings and coordinates various aspects of interdepartmental communication as necessary.
High School Diploma or GED required
Associate degree preferred
5 or more years of administrative support experience, with some prior experience in an administrative leadership role is preferred (8 years total experience preferred).
Strong/working knowledge of Excel: able to create spreadsheets, formulas
Ability to multi-task
Remain calm and professional under pressure
Flexible and willing to change with priorities
Ability to work as part of a team
Proactive and can anticipate needs of the team
