Job Description

repare and place purchase orders, manage several suppliers/components, and ensure product is delivered on time and meets quality standards
• Responsible for delivery and quality assurance, cost management, quote preparation, negotiations, and work transfers
• Monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Attend program status and production meetings
• Communicate status updates to internal customers
• Meet multiple deadlines and ensure targets are identified and met
• Actively participate in the development and execution of supplier strategies to improve delivery and quality performance
• Interface with program leadership, engineering, quality, production control, internal and external suppliers, customers, and the supply base
• Participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) events and activities
• Other tasks as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

• Requires a University Degree and typically requires minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and typically requires minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Experience with ERP and MRP specifically SAP

Preferred Qualifications:

• Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) knowledge
• Skills in Lean, Six Sigma or ACE
• Aerospace Industry experience
